A beautiful and exquisite piece of Barbola work. Barbola is the decoration of small articles (as of wood or glass) with coloured models of flowers, fruit, or other ornamental objects made from a plastic paste known as barbotine. This fine example of Barbola work used to decorate a dressing table mirror would have been produced in the 1920’s – 1930’s.
